... and teaching artist Brenda has worked with the Museum of the Moving Image, Mythic Bridge, WNET/PBS Kids, Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, and Washington Township Schools in Indianapolis. Her most recent work is with WNET/PBS Kids as an Early Learning Associate, Early Learning Ambassador, and as a content contributor to an educational series called Let’s Learn for PBS Channel THIRTEEN.

Brenda has taught filmmaking and media to kids from K-12 and adults, has led professional development lessons for teachers, taught Spanish at an elementary school level, and has worked as a tutor. Her passion for education and teaching others comes from her own experience growing up as an ESL student and as a first-generation college graduate.
